It is one of the first questions we hear: should we run ads on Instagram and Facebook, or on Google? The honest answer is that both work, for different reasons.
Google catches demand
People on Google are already looking. Someone searching for a dentist near them has a need right now. If people search for what you sell, Google search ads put you in front of them at the right moment.
Meta creates demand
People on Instagram and Facebook are not looking for you. Good creative interrupts their scroll and makes them want something they had not planned to buy today. It is powerful for new launches, visual products and building a brand.
A simple rule
If customers already search for your service, start with Google. If they need to see it to want it, start with Meta. Many businesses end up using both, with Meta building interest and Google catching the searches it creates.
Start small, then scale what works
Begin with a focused test, one offer and one audience, and give it enough time to learn. Then put more budget behind whatever brings in real enquiries.
